University College Dublin (UCD) is the largest mainstream university in Ireland. There are about 30,000 undergraduate and 8,000 postgraduate pursuing their studies here at any one time.
Since my nephew was pursuing his studies in medicine, we paid a visit to the School of Medicine and Medical Science. It was the summer vacation time and therefore the building was somewhat vacant. During term time, the School is hosting 1,600 undergraduate and 400 postgraduate students.
We also paid a visit to the Student Centre which has a post-modern design. Almost all kinds of facility and services that the students need are provided here.
